I met Heidi at States 2000, where I managed to get her to give
me her email address, and she got my phone number. (Hmmm...I feel a bit shortchanged
here...) Then she came up to Mammoth for spring break 2000, and, as they say,
the rest is history. It is one year together(!) as of the 14th of April, though
I haven't seen nearly enough of her. The fact that she lives six hours away
doesn't help matters much. There's also talk of a condo up here...

The talk has turned into reality! She now has a condo up here in Mammoth!
That means I get to see her nearly every weekend!!!!! it is approaching
Spring break and prom times...so we are setting plans...
Unfortunately, she blew her ACL skiing, and has had surgery.
She is recovering well, but her ski racing season is blown...
Now she is looking towards next fall as back on skis...
Over a year and two months. Wow. It's summer now...We've both
graduated. Setting plans to go to college in the fall. I'm going to Albertson
College of Idaho, and She's going to Cal State San Bernadino. I don't know
what we're going to do, when we're 1000 miles plus away...we'll just have to
see...
Final Update - I'll leave this page up for a while, perhaps.
I moved to college, and she started school too, and the distance was just too
much - after a misunderstanding and some talk, we have broken up. 16 months
of a great relationship, and I don't regret any of it. We're still friends,
and I'll be teaching skiing beside her come winter break.
